Trying to make it!

What to do when you have an idea to create something, you create it, and now you want to sell it? That's where I'm at right now. I have tried everything I know to get it out there. Of course, I don't expect miracles. I just want to be able to create things that people enjoy. It's kind of a tough nut to crack.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the concept of all things handmade. I've been doing this for quite some time. My husband and I have been creating different things for years. I have finally found something I truly enjoy and would love to supplement my income with it.
As I sit here at my computer, I have thought of my next creation running through my mind. What it will look like when it's done and who may want it. For now, I'll call it the crafting curse.

Crafting Crazy!!

I have recently ventured into the almost full time crafting zone. I got a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas from the family and instantly fell in love. There is nothing better than designing something from scratch and calling it your own. I didn't think that I would enjoy designing this much but I do.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Silhouette Cameo, it is a cutting machine. It can cut several different types if material. My material of choice would be vinyl. I love creating t-shirts. I has also come in very handy for recent baby showers and graduation parties.

Recipe of the Week!

This recipe is so good and so easy. Everyone in the family will love it.

Chicken Caesar Pasta

Ingredients

4 thin sliced boneless skinless chicken breasts
3/4 cup Creamy Caesar dressing
3/4 Low sodium chicken broth
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/4 cup chopped green onions
8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (ball)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Caesar croutons (crushed)
10 ounces penne pasta

To start:
In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add chicken and season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook through. While chicken is cooking, bring water for pasta to a boil. Once boiling, add pasta and cook according to package directions.

In a bowl, mix Caesar dressing, chicken broth, green onions, and red pepper together.. I find that using quality Mozzarella cheese makes all the difference. Get the Mozzarella in the ball, not the low moisture Mozzarella. Cut the Mozzarella into small cubes, as small as you can since it can't be shredded. put it in the freezer until you're ready to mix with everything else. Once chicken is cooked, cut it in cubes and set aside. Drain pasta once cooked.

Add cooked chicken and pasta to dressing mixture. Mix well. Stir in cheese making sure to mix in well. Pour mixture into casserole dish. Sprinkle parmesan cheese then crushed croutons on top and put in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.

Serve with Garlic Bread. Serves 6

Enjoy!

Sorry! I know it's been a while...

I have been trying so many new things recently. I can't wait to share them with you. As I've said before, I learn something new everyday. I have a new toy and I have been working to build my business making custom shirts for adults and children. I'll make sure to show you some of my designs. I have also been working closely with my husband designing and refurbishing furniture to sell at a local antique mall. Short to say, I have a lot of irons in the fire. Of course, there is always room for more. Lets get ready for some fun!
